The products in this range are corrosion resistant and combine functionality with aesthetics for a variety of design possibilities.

In homes or in public spaces, they are not just a practical accessory, but they also allow you to take full advantage of small rooms optimizing their functions. Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome is a new kind of glass used for the mirrors. The corrosion resistance and the facility of processing offers many chances for new applications, not achievable with conventional silvered mirrors.

Shiny appearance, despite the high humidity

It is a highly reflective chrome-mirror coating glass, which reduces the risk of stains and discoloration caused by moisture. The result is a brilliant mirror even when used in areas with high humidity. The corrosion resistance allows it to be used in the shower, in spas and swimming pools. Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome is manufactured with magnetron sputtering technology.

Durability and safety for large mirrored surfaces

Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome, can be easily processed in toughened or laminated safety glass or bent with current techniques used in glassmaking. This is particularly important to ensure the safety in the installations in public areas (gyms, swimming pools, dance halls, etc.).

Design the future

The easy transformation of the glass increases the possibility of interior design applications. For example, it can be sandblasted, acid etched to obtain a satin effect, while logos or other individual design elements can be applied for a customized space.

Thanks to this product, designers obtain a tool that further extends their creative skills.

Two additional versions enrich this range: Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Plus, more opaque than Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome, suitable for applications that do not require any light transmission, and Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Spy, one-way mirror, which allows a discreet observation in all situations where it is necessary to observe without being seen.
