Pontarolo Engineering S.p.a. is a company belonging to a corporate group engaged in the construction sector for more than 50 years.
It was born in a small and dynamic area – the Italian Province of Pordenone – and over the years it has grown gradually, but steadily.
The company’s primary field of activity is research and development of new technologies for the building industry, which are first applied within its own building sites. Being it a construction company itself, Pontarolo Engineering S.p.a. is able to fully appreciate the needs and the problems of the building industry.
By combining its extensive experience in the construction sector with the most advanced technology, the company is able to offer to designers and constructors a wide range of innovative products manufactured according to highest quality standards, which improve the traditional building systems with respect to the legal requirements following the development trends in the sector.
Pontarolo Engineering is a dynamic company, formed by a highly motivated team of experts, and over the years it has received numerous awards and prizes, which stand as proof of the success and high regard that its products have earned on the international level.
The implemented corporate strategy is concerned with the continuous development of new ideas, verification thereof by means of studies and testing, as well manufacturing and improving own products; in short, it is engaged in applied research activities. The strength of the company lies in the fusion of “research and application” of the research itself, beside its ability to increase the value of its assets through patenting (the company’s products are certified in a number of countries and protected by patents on the global level), know-how development, expansion to foreign markets and training of its highly qualified personnel.
After conquering the Italian market, Pontarolo Engineering S.p.a. has started exporting in Spain, Portugal, France, Great Britain, Austria, Germany and non-EU countries, such as Canada, the United States, Mexico, Russia, Australia and New Zealand. The company has been registered to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standard by the certifying body ICMQ S.p.a. from Milan.
The founders Valerio and Andrea Pontarolo, pushed by a strong technical creative impulse motivated, have imagined a firm that was able to individualize and to create innovative products of everyday use.
That’s why it has been used a business mark that unites the family name Pontarolo, add to the word Engineering.
The font individualized for the writing of the logo have been created on purpose; some letters, exempted by edges, they intend to represent the adjustment to the applications of the market, while other letters introduce acute edges to mean that least of necessary technological forcing to innovate.
The colour of the line between the two words has been individualized in the green that represents the novelty, the freshness, just in one word, the innovation.
The line represents a road that is been travelled and that it going toward the future, toward new finishing lines.
From 2008, following the wining of the prestigious Innovation Prize FVG 2007, where the Pontarolo was in competition with other ninety enterprises of high prestige, it has been add on the right part of the mark, a light bulb stylized that is a review of the logo of the Innovation Prize FVG.
The orange colour inside the light bulb, intends to represent the strong motivation that is moving all the collaborators of the Pontarolo Engineering to the search of great ideas and great results. Ideas and results that we find all over the world today and, to represent this expansion, the rays of the light bulb have been inserted.
Every incandescence light bulb, to make light, needs a filament.
The filament inside the light bulb is the signature of the partner founder Valerio Pontarolo, axis of the whole system.
