Viessmann’s comprehensive range of products
Viessmann’s comprehensive range of products offers individual solutions with efficient systems and services ranging from 1.5 to 120,000 kW for all application areas and all fuel sources. Viessmann’s product portfolio includes wall-mounted condensing units from 1.9 to 150 kW, freestanding condensing boilers from 1.9 to 6,000 kW and combined heat and power (CHP) stations from 1.0 to 530 kWel and 5.3 to 660 kWth.
The CHP systems are designed to operate with natural or bio-natural gas and are available in combination with a bio-natural gas supply agreement.
The range of regenerative energy systems includes solar thermal systems with flat-plate and vacuum tube collectors for DHW heating, heating system backup and solar power building cooling, special boilers and combustion units from 4 kW to 50 MW for logs, wood chips and pellets, heat pumps from 1.7 to 2000 kW that use heat from the ground, groundwater or ambient air, and photovoltaic systems.
For local heating networks and bio-energy villages Viessmann also offers everything from a single source – from initial feasibility studies and detail engineering to the delivery of all necessary components like biogas systems, heaters, CHP modules, geothermal piping and residential transfer stations to construction and commissioning.
The Viessmann Group covers the cooling and refrigeration technology sector with a comprehensive range of temperature-controlled rooms, refrigeration solutions for the food retail industry, powerful refrigeration cells and units as well as accessories and services.
Full-range service
As a full-range supplier, Viessmann includes an extensive range of service offers.
For example, the Viessmann Academy provides a comprehensive training and professional development program to heating contractors, designers, architects, housing associations, flue gas inspectors, technical education establishments and its own staff.
By doing this, the company is seeking to meet the increasing training requirements of its trade partners due to structural changes in the heating market towards efficient technologies and regenerative energy systems as well as the associated increase in the range of technologies available.
Worldwide 92,000 industry specialists take part in the Viessmann Academy’s training sessions every year.
The Viessmann service package also includes support from the Technical Service Department, a software range meeting the customers’ demands, support through advertising and sales promotion as well as a user-friendly information and ordering system available around-the-clock online.
Energy and technical forums
Top energy and climate experts meet regularly at the Viessmann Academy’s energy and technical forums to discuss issues and share their experience.
Since the first such event in 2008, around 2,500 trade partners, heating contractors, designers, architects and engineers have taken part. This shows that there is a great need for factual information and clarification of political and technological issues.
