AF FIREGUARD 3 – Fire-ratedmat –  Protection of ventilation ducts

AF FIREGUARD 3 is a flexible mat designed to grant EI 120 (according to 1366-1) for ventilation ducts.
AF FIREGUARD 3 has been tested on rectangular and circular ducts in vertical and horizontal configurations.

It is is applied in a single layer along the entire length of the duct. The product is made with a rock-wool mat quitted of wire mesh and covered with aluminized polyethylene on the outer face. The inner face of the mat is treated with an ablative component protected by a fiber glass fabric.

It is is used to protect against fire the metal ventilation  ducts.
