ESSENTIAL
Essential by Scrigno and Wall-Door System
Essential is the name of the doors and frames developed by Scrigno using the Wall-Door System.
Sliding and swinging doors, where door posts and edging trims have disappeared. The design eliminates all external components, reducing finishing elements visible outside the wall to a minimum. Both physically and visually the wall is free from door posts and all other parts, giving the opening between the two spaces the maximum continuity and fluidity.
Essential doors, to give the greatest possible freedom for design and decor. The door is Essential, the style is free, the quality is Scrigno.
Essential Sliding
This frame was patented as an exclusive by Scrigno, and is a system that allows a sliding door to completely disappear, perfectly matching the wall and leaving it free from all exposed components. A frame designed with the Wall-Door System that allows a sliding door to completely disappear. The frame has been reduced to a minimum, without the doorpost and edging trims. Plasterwork or plasterboard is applied directly to the aluminium profile bars, which can then easily be painted, along with the walls, to give attractive final results. Available in one and two-door versions and for masonry and plasterboard walls. Also available in non-standard sizes, in heights varying to the nearest centimetre.
Essential Dual
An exclusive Scrigno patent, Essential Dual is a frame based on an evolution of the Essential and Granluce models. A frame designed with the Wall-Door System that allows two sliding glass doors linked by a sliding system to disappear into the frame, eliminating the doorpost and edging trims. Wall thickness 10.5 cm, thickness of glass doors 1 cm. The special feature of Essential Dual is that it can be built into a normal wall with a thickness of just 10.5 cm, and the glass doors have a thickness of 1 cm. Available only in the single-door version for masonry walls. Also available in non-standard sizes with heights variable in steps of 1 cm.
Essential Trial
Essential Trial is a sliding door frame based on an evolution of Essential and Essential Dual, the result of constant research and design development by Scrigno. This innovative product can contain three disappearing sliding glass doors linked by a sliding system inside a single metal box. This makes it possible to achieve particularly wide openings even when only small wall areas are available for the installation of the door frame. The finished opening matches the wall perfectly, eliminating doorposts and edging trims and leaving it free from all exposed components. Plasterwork or plasterboard can be applied directly to the aluminium profile bars used in Essential Trial, and these can then be easily painted to ensure attractive final results. Available in a single-door version for masonry walls with thickness 140 mm and for plasterboard walls with thickness 158 mm.
Essential Pro
Essential Pro is a special version of the Essential sliding door that allows the Scrigno Open kit for sliding door automation to be installed. Scrigno Open is extremely easy to install, with a compact motor unit fixed to the track at the top of the frame and totally concealed, leaving the external appearance of the door unchanged.
Essential Swinging Doors
The doors of the Essential by Scrigno range are swinging doors designed with the Wall-Door System, without edging trims. The door blends even more integrally into its surroundings, creating continuity with the walls, which become the unmistakable protagonists of the space, while the door is perceived as being totally amalgamated into the wall. The distinctive feature of Essential swinging doors is their possibility of giving continuity to environments, and door panels can be painted, lacquered or covered with wallpaper, exactly like the finishes already existing. The door can even be finished differently on each side, adapting it perfectly to the space of which it is part.
The two versions available are:
- Essential Battente, with a slight gap between the frame and door;
- Essential Battente Zero, the gapless model.
Essential doors can be fitted on both masonry and plasterboard walls, and can be made in either the classic rectangular form or in special trapezoidal shapes (for use in lofts, beneath stairs, etc). The trapezoidal shape is not available for the Battente Zero version.
