For new roofs or re-roofing General Membrane offers an underlying system for General SOLAR PV with a 20-year warranty exclusively made with the special PHOENIX SOLAR, APAO -35°C ITC membranes with two fully-bonded torched on layers.
The first PHOENIX SOLAR layer is also fastened by mechanical means, which ensures the whole system is resistant to wind-uplift.
The second layer, over which the photovoltaic system is placed, is a PHOENIX SOLAR film/film with an exclusive protection against external fire, CUT FIRE.
For roofs that are already waterproofed PHOENIX SOLAR represents the membrane that connects the photovoltaic module to the existing roof.

This is a polymer bitumen waterproofing membrane with an outstanding ability to adapt to low temperatures, is highly resistant to UV rays (i.e. it is not susceptible to thermal ageing) and ensures the durability of the waterproof covering, as required by the photovoltaic system.
