Production: Raised floor

Flooring solutions Made in Italy since 1986

Newfloor is a family-run Veneto company, founded in 1986 following 10 years of experience in the timber sector.

Work revolved exclusively around production for third parties in the first years, notably for Italian partners, exponents of great prominence in the ceramics sector. And it is thanks to its specialisation in the hard materials and stone sector that the company had the intuition to develop technologies that differ from the standard manufacturing of resilient materials that were very common in those years (such as vinyl, rubber, carpet, laminates, linoleum), and to enter the market with innovative products.

First in its sector to do so, Newfloor modified the standard 60×60 cm panel format, offering more modern sizes to the market (for example 60×120, 60×90, 45X90, 75×75 cm).

1994 saw the opening of new headquarters in Codevigo (Padua) and in 2003 its own brand was launched on the national and international markets.

Over the years the company has registered no fewer than two patents for industrial inventions: in 1998 a patent for a multiple porcelain grès tile raised flooring panel, edge-trimmed with a permanent and resistant joint, and in 2013 a Europe-wide registered brand for freefloor, a dry self-laying flooring system.
