What are system boilers?
System boilers are often referred to as sealed system boilers, providing central heating and hot water via a storage cylinder which is often housed in an airing cupboard.
There is no need for water tanks in the loft, as with an open vent boiler.
System boilers can be used with a hot water storage cylinder as a standalone heating system, or can be used as part of a number of renewable heating systems for example solar thermal.
