Peralit 25 by Perlite Italiana is an expanded perlite to coarse grain size (1-5 mm), to be applied to the payment for interventions of thermal insulation of attics not practicable and flues .
Peralit 25, thanks to its porous structure is lightweight (c.ca 100 kg / m3) and has a low thermal conductivity (0.048 W / mK).
Being a non-combustible material (Class A1) helps to slow the spread of fires.
Natural and biocompatible (ANAB for green building), is inert, rot-proof, free from natural radioactivity and VOC emissions , resistant to microorganisms and rodents.
Waterproofed version Idroperalit comes with water-resistant: a special surface treatment of silicone allows its use even in extreme circumstances as perlite makes it less permeable to moisture in the high performance thermal (thermal conductivity 0.052 W / mK).
