Dörken GmbH & Co. KG is an autonomous subsidiary of Ewald Dörken AG, with a workforce of around 270 employees.
The company’s array of products includes pitched roof membranes with associated accessories, foundation wall protection, sealing and drainage systems, covering and scaffolding tarpaulin, plus garden and pond films.
Composite construction laminates produced in Herdecke reach domestic customers via builders’ merchants and roofing specialists. They are sold abroad via subsidiaries in Switzerland, France, the Benelux countries, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Dörken’s Canadian subsidiary has its own manufacturing plant that produces studded sheets for the North American market. In other countries the company works with sales partners, with some of whom it has now been collaborating for many years. Exports currently make up 33 percent of all sales.
