CROSS-LAMINATED TIMBER PANELS
Made in ItalyFor the construction of floors, walls and roofs
Rubner Holzbau Cross-laminated timber, used for the construction of floors, walls and roofs, is made up of several glulam layers in spruce, industrially dried (humidity 12% +/-2%), placed flat one over the other with crossed fibre directions, and glued together to form large-sized solid wood panels (up to 13 m length, 4 m width and 20 cm thickness).
This crosswise arrangement allows reduction of wood swelling or shrinking to values that can be considered negligible in building work.
Further, load transfer in all directions opens new fields of application in the timber building sector.
Rubner Holzbau produces panels for walls (including door and window cut-outs) and for floors (including staircase holes, ceiling recesses, chimney cut-outs) as well as providing full width connections (interlocking profiles, shaped holes and covering boards) as well as special solutions.
