Rubner Holzbau was one of the first companies in Central Europe to specialise, more than 50 years ago, in the production of glulam.
This material has almost the same load bearing capacity of steel, but a far lower weight and is characterised by excellent fire resistance.
Moreover, with respect to solid wood constructions, glulam ensures high earthquake resistance and excellent resistance to aggressive substances.
In the building industry, this material allows a high degree of prefabrication; moreover, it enables constructions with very wide spans, without heat bridges and of high aesthetic quality.
