Where particularly stringent demands are made on the Uf value, previously there was no alternative to window systems using insulating foam.
Now, Ensinger is offering a unique product which allows specified values to be achieved without using foam: insulbar® LEF, the new insulation profile with Low-E film 12 e 3.
The film makes that vital difference
- The wafer-thin Low-E film applied to the lug of the insulating bar minimizes losses due to thermal radiation (ε = 0.03 in accordance with EN 12898 and EN ISO 10456)
- The profile and film are heat resistant up to 200°C and unlike most foams, allow powder coating of the complete assembly
