ERGON® LIVING is a rototranslating hardware kit for doors, providing long-term stability and solidity of door operation. The ERGON® LIVING rototranslating door system is thus the most commonly used by door manufacturers for its innovative features, simplicity and functionality. The ERGON® rototranslating technology is a valid alternative to traditional swinging doors when space is at a premium or there is a need to facilitate the movement of people with disabilities. With ERGON®, new ideas for interior space or furnishing arrangements can be developed starting in the design phase. This is especially valuable in small rooms where space is at a premium.
The design of the ERGON® hardware kit gives door manufacturers full freedom in designing doors of any model type or finish.

No modification to the walls is necessary when installing ERGON® LIVING door systems. No constraints are imposed in the design phase since the system is adaptable to all door types: wood, glass, metal, plastic.

The ERGON® LIVING kit is available in the following versions:

ERGON® LIVING T.E. FOR SOLID OR HOLLOW-CORE DOORS
with pivot shaft in the door jamb.

ERGON® LIVING S40 FOR HOLLOW-CORE DOORS
with pivot shaft in the door leaf, a development of the tried and proven ERGON® Community door hardware.

All ERGON® LIVING door hardware has passed the most rigorous European testing protocols involving 100,000 open-close cycles.

The Soft Opening swing-dampening system can be installed on all ERGON® hardware versions. The Soft Opening system is inspectable and can be installed/disinstalled after the door has been mounted.
