Enercover Top is the photovoltaic system that uses flexible modules of amorphous silicon thin film, which is applicable to any type of metal roofing.
The top line is designed according to the principles of separation of functions between roofing material and photovoltaic systems, ensuring the highest level of reliability both of the covering and the photovoltaic generator.
Enercover Top also ensures compliance with the requirements for recognition of the total building integration.
The system is designed to be combined with protected multilayer Ondulit Coverib steel sheets, unique among the metal roof to ensure a twenty year durability in aggressive environment, also certified by ITC-CNR.
However, you can install Enercover Top on other covers, provided that they give the necessary assurance of reliability, without any maintenance for the next 20 years.
ADVANTAGES
- Total building integration:
the system meets the requirements for the recognition of architectural integration (GSE Help 10/12/2007). That means enjoying the best available rate for each class of system.
- Functional separation:
Enercover Top creates a perfect balance between covering and the photovoltaic generator, which maintain different and separate functions, creating a system with superior performance and reliability through the years.
- Applied on existing roofs:
it is still advisable to check that the cover is reliable for at least the next 20 years.
- Applicable on portions of the cover:
shaded conditions and inadequate exposure of the roof often make it possible to make only one part of the cover active.
- Applicable on all types of roofing:
Enercover Top can be provided bent in order to make the system perfectly adapted to curved roofs.
- Ventilation:
Not as other technologies, but also the amorphous silicon cells have reduced productivity with increasing temperature. The ventilation of the modules ensures a superior performance in their periods of maximum exposure to the sun.
- Lightweight:
Enercover Top is considerably lighter than conventional solar panels. This makes it even normally installed on structures with low accepted additional permanent overhead.
- Installation not contextual:
Enercover Top does not require the installation of photovoltaic modules the same time as the roof. This means being able to seal the building quickly and independently of the time and the presence of skilled personnel needed for a photovoltaic system.
- Coupling system reliability:
the strength of the anchor and its influence on the impermeability of the roof are key elements, sometimes not adequately addressed in the project.
