Isolcap kronos is a traditional fast drying cement screed

Premixed screed composed of cement, selected interts and specific additives, suitable for the realization of substrates at quick-medium drying, with controlled shrinkage.
SURFACE PREPARATION STORAGE APPLICATION the surface must be clean, compact and resistant, dry,with a relative moisture lower than 2%.
ANCHORED SCREED – minimum thickness 2 cm
• Apply the product along the perimeter walls and pillars with thicknesses from 4 to 8 mm.
• With thicknesses higher than 4 cm, apply an electrowelded net with mesh of 5×5 cm, taking care to keep it raised for a third of the total height of the screed.
FLOATING SCREED – minimum thickness 4 cm
• Lay a waterproof foil on the surface (PVC, polyethylen,etc.)to avoid the formation of folds and pockets. Apply the product along the perimeter walls and pillars with thicknesses from 4 to 8 mm.
• With thicknesses higher than 4 cm, apply an electrowelded net with mesh of 5×5 cm, taking care to keep it raised for a third of the total height of the screed.
If the surface presents differences of level, take the necessary precautions to avoid phenomenon of superficial tensions.
In both cases is recommended to ventilate the rooms and avoid problems resulting from condensation.
ISOLCAP KRONOS can be mixed with a cement mixer, continuous mixing machine or manually.
The mixture should have a wet consistency equal to a traditional screed.
For the mix use 7% of water equivalent to approx. 2 lt per bag of 30 kg.
For the mixture in cement mixer put the water first and the material then, by turning up to 2 minutes until you reach the desired consistency.
Store the product in its original packaging. Do not disperse its dust. The properly stored product have to be used within 3 months from the packing date printed on the bag.
CHARACTERISTIC ISOLCAP KRONOS is a traditional premix based on cement and selected dried sand. It is suitable to the production of ‘wet’ cement screed to use for the realization of internal floors with high performances and fast drying.
Thanks to the constancy of the size grain curve and the quantity of cement it avoids yield losses and hydraulic shrinkage allowing its use also on radiant panel maintaining high mechanical performances, a good thermal conductivity and quick of application.
