ISOTEC XL

Made in Italy

Greater under-tile ventilation

The new Isotec XL panel is created in rigid expanded polyurethane which guarantees thermal resistance. The integrated steel joist, with an aluminium zinc and silicon (aluzinc) joist, has a profile designed to ensure ventilation of the roof equivalent to more than 200 cm2/m of gutter.
The homogenous air flow, from the gutter to the ridge, during the summer season increases the conditions of thermohygrometric wellbeing facilitating the disposal of heat transmitted from the roofing and the durability of the elements which combine to create it, allowing for the disposal of humidity during the winter season and avoiding the formation of mould and condensation problems.
The evolution is not limited to the increase of the ventilation chamber as, thanks to the new box profile, it
perfectly retains the tiles and always offers the maximum guarantee of walkability even in the case of very extreme pitch slopes. The new Isotec XL panel guarantees a low thermal conductibility (λD = 0,023 W/mK) and is produced in thicknesses of 80*, 100 e 120 mm (thermal transmittance U = 0,29 – 0,23 – 0,19 W/m2K).

Characteristics

The new Isotec XL panel maintains all the characteristics of a traditional Isotec panel, but with a ridge of 4 cm it ensures ventilation equivalent to 200 cm2/m per m of gutter. The evolution is not limited to the increase of the ventilation chamber as, thanks to the new profile, Isotec XL perfectly retains the tiles and always offers the maximum guarantee of walkability even in the case of very extreme pitch slopes. Available in thicknesses: 80*, 100 e 120 mm.

Isotec

Transversal dovetail
The terminal transversal walls of the panel are cut in dovetail form to guarantee the continuity of the insulation.

Longitudinal battens
The Isotec XL panel, shaped to contrasting battens, ensures that the fastening amongst panels will be adhered to, eliminating the risk of thermal bridges.

Specifications item

The thermal insulation of the pitched roofing should be realised using an under-tile insulation system consisting of: a monolithic structural panel, modular, self-supporting and insulating, made from rigid closed cell polyurethane foam at a density of 38 Kg/m3, self-extinguishing class 0-2 (DM 26/06/84 and DM 03/09/01) and euroclass F (EN 13501-1) with minimum thermal conductivity λD equal to 0.023 W/mK (in accordance with the UNI EN 13165 norm) and declared thermal Resistance RD of no lower than 2.6 m2K/W for panels of a thickness of 60mm, 3.47 m2K/W for panels of a thickness of 80mm, 4.34 m2K/W for panels of a thickness of 100mm and 5.21 m2K/W for panels of a thickness of 120mm. The panel is shaped with longitudinal overlapping battens on the long side and dovetail fastening on the short side. The coating on the panel consists of embossed aluminium laminate both at the intradox and the extradox. The panel must carry the CE mark approved by certificates released by accredited bodies. The coated metallic profile in aluminium – zinc – silicon (aluzinc) of a height of 4cm integrated into the panel, carries hole which allow for the disposal of the water and ensures ventilation equal to more than 200 cm2/m of gutter. It is equipped with a longitudinal web, on the flat part of the overflow of the polyurethane panels, which prevents the water from going back up. Width: compliant with the elements of the roofing. Length: 3900 mm. Thickness: 80 mm*, 100 mm and 120 mm.
