Fire-rated element for the protection for combustible pipe penetrations

AF COLLAR C is an innovative fire-rated element designed to grant EI 120 / EI 180 (according to EN 1366-3) to walls and floors passed trough by combustible pipes that have a curved shape.
It is made of stainless steel and contains intumescent stripes. When a fire occurs, the combustible material suffers a deformation and melts gradually. Meanwhile, the intumescent material expands, blocking thus the passage of smoke and flames.

AF COLLAR C has been designed to protect against fire the passages of combus- tible pipes that present a curved shape (PVC, PE, PP) in walls and floors.
