AF MULTICOLLAR – Protection for combustible and insulated pipe penatrations

AF MULTICOLLAR is a modular fire-rated element designed to grant EI 120 (according to EN 1366-3) to walls passed through by combustible and insulated metal pipes.
It can be cut to size and installed on pipes which diameter is comprised between 30 and 250 mm.
When a fire occurs, the combustible pipes and the insulating material (on metal pipes) suffer a deformation and melt gradually. Meanwhile, the intumescent material expands, blocking thus the passage of smoke and flames.
