Sunscreen with ceramic listels or tubes

The sunscreen is made with parallel elements suitably slanted and at the right distance with one another; the purpose is to screen indoor areas from direct sunlight without depriving them of light and/or ventilation. Sunscreen can also be an aesthetic element; by having an interplay with the continuity of the façade it fulfills the design requirements in particularly sophisticated and prestigious instances.

SUNSCREEN WITH CERAMIC LISTELS
This type of sunscreen is made by inserting the ceramic listel into a specific metal support fitted with suitable clips. These clips are subsequently click-fitted into the front groove of the uprights. The listel size may be selected among submultiples obtained by cutting 60×120 cm or 45×90 cm slabs. It is also possible to couple two ceramic listels on a single metal support to extent the sunscreen length up to 150 cm. It is up to the designer to choose the slant angle and the distance between the listels, since once installed on the uprights they cannot be moved any longer. Every sunscreen listel may be assembled and disassembled independently from any other.
The structure, which allows all types of adjustment, is capable of withstanding the wind and allows the thermal expansion of all components. The metal components may be painted in the color of the selected ceramic listel or in the color of other façade elements (fixtures, balustrades, other). With its sober and elegant aesthetic, ceramic sunscreens may be applied successfully to residential and commercial buildings, but also to industrial or service facilities, thus contributing to enhance the structure in terms of energy and look.

SUNSCREEN WITH CERAMIC TUBES
Another possible solution are sunscreens made of porcelain stoneware 50×50 mm square-section tubular elements. Their maximum length is 125. The ceramic tubes are available in the natural unglazed versions or may be glazed with RAL color or in matching color with the façade slabs they are assembled with. A galvanized steel profile is fitted into the tubes, and on each end a special clip is fitted to close the ceramic element. The metal core is a single rigid element; the ceramic tube, thus assembled, is click-fitted into the groove of the metal support uprights.
Every sunscreen tube may be assembled and disassembled independently from any other. The structure, which allows all types of adjustment, is capable of withstanding the wind and allows the thermal expansion of all components.The metal components may be painted in the color of the selected ceramic tube or in the color of other façade elements (fixtures, balustrades, other). Its particular shape and the variety of the color palette make the ceramic tube a highly decorative element, which creates harmony and enhances the look of the façade and the entire building.
